Meet the Seniors Coach.
James Saker
The Bell Park Football Club is thrilled to announce the appointment of James Saker as Senior Coach for Season 2023 and beyond.
James is a person of great integrity with values aligned with our proud Club.
After an impressive playing career with Werribee in the VFL, James was appointed Playing Coach of Lavington in the Ovens & Murray FL.
As Senior Coach, James guided Lavington to finals in every year of his 6 year tenure, including two Grand Finals.
Upon relocating to Geelong, James reunited with former Werribee teammate, Dom Gleeson to conclude his playing career at Torquay.
In 2022, James worked alongside Michael Barlow as an Assistant Coach (Backline and Team Defence) at Werribee VFL.
We welcome James, his wife Bianca and family to Bell Park and wish him every success.

The Bell Park Football Club is a community based Football Club and aims to offer players of all backgrounds and capabilities an opportunity to play Football in a friendly and welcoming environment.
